BOE demonstrates a 4.7" high-resolution AMQLED prototype at Display Week 2023
China-based BOE has demonstrated a new 4.7" AMQLED display prototype, a self-emissive QD based panel.
The panel offers a resolution of 1440x2560 (650 PPI), a color gamut of 85% BT2020 and a high contrast ratio (rated at 10,000,000:1).
BOE developed an Oxide-TFT 55" 8K AMQLED display
BOE Technology Group unveiled a 55" 8K AMQLED device, which is said to be the world's first such display. The display is based on QD emitters, and uses an active-matrix Oxide-TFT backplane.
BOE says that all functional layers, except the cathode, were deposited using inkjet printing.
BOE shows a 55-inch 4K emissive QD display prototype at SID Displayweek 2021
China-based BOE shows its latest emissive-QD display (AMQLED) at SID Displayweek 2021:
The 55-inch display offers a 3840x2160 (4K) resolution, a contrast ratio of 1,000,000 : 1 and a wide color gamut (90% BT2020). BOE says that all the functional layers of this display (HIL, HTL, QD and ETL) were ink-jet printed which enable BOE to achieve a material utilization rate of over 90%.
